Roofing websites · BKND Development, Elizabeth, NJ

Roofing website design, priced in public.

A roofing website that brings in calls needs a page for every service and every town you work, storm and insurance pages, and a phone number on every screen. BKND builds them in code for $12,000 (Standard) or $24,000 (Custom), each payable over 12 months, and the code and domain are yours once it is paid.

What a roofing website needs

Eight things every roofing website should have

This list comes from the two roofing sites further down this page. Check your current site against it before you pay anyone to rebuild it.

  1. 01

A page for every roof service you sell

Replacement, repair, flat roofs, gutters, siding: each gets its own page so it can rank on its own search. One “services” page cannot rank for six different jobs.

  2. 02

A page for every town you want calls from

Homeowners search “roof repair” plus their town. WeatherShield has 36 location pages; R&E Roofing has 84 town pages.

  3. 03

Storm damage and insurance claim pages, written before the storm

Google has to find and index a page before it can show it, so a storm page has to exist before the storm, not after. Both sites carry storm damage and insurance claim pages year round.

  4. 04

A free inspection or quote page

Keep it short: name, phone, address and the problem. Anything else can wait for the call.

  5. 05

Tap to call on every screen

The number belongs in the header of every page, not only on the contact page, so a visitor on a phone can call with one tap.

  6. 06

    Price answers before the call

A cost guide or calculator answers the first question every homeowner has. R&E Roofing’s site has a roof replacement cost calculator for New Jersey.

  7. 07

    Your own job photos

Stock photos of a stranger’s roof prove nothing. Your crew on your jobs in your towns is the proof a homeowner looks for.

  8. 08

Code you own, and schema built in

Google says structured data gives it explicit clues about what a page means. Owning the code means you can move hosts or builders without starting over.

Template, rental or owned

Three ways to buy a roofing website

Each one fits a different roofer. The right pick depends on how many towns you want calls from and whether you want to own the site.

  • Template site

New or small roofers who need a clean site this month.

    Strengths

Low price and fast. RoofWebs has sold roofing templates since 2007, includes shingle styles and colors on the site, and lets you edit every page yourself.

    Limits

10 to 30 pages. Not enough to rank in many towns for many services.

  • Managed custom site on a contract

Roofers who want someone else to host and run the site for a monthly fee.

    Strengths

Low setup cost, custom design, hosting and updates handled for you.

    Limits

You are paying rent. RoofWebs’ custom packages need a 24-month commitment; ask any provider what happens to the site if you leave.

  • Custom site you own outright

Roofers who want to rank across a whole service area and keep the asset.

    Strengths

Built in code, with room for hundreds of town and service pages on a Custom build; the code and domain are yours once paid.

    Limits

The highest upfront price of the three: $12,000 to $24,000 at BKND, $21,000 at Hook Agency.

Built for the phone

The call starts on a phone screen

A homeowner with a leak is not at a desk. Every BKND website comes with click-to-call on every screen and its SEO structure and schema built in from day one.

  • Click-to-call on every screen
  • Service pages for each job you sell
  • Programmatic city, service and storm pages on Custom builds
  • Lead routing, call tracking and CRM integration on Custom builds

How a build runs

From a 20-minute call to a site you own

  1. 01

    A 20-minute call

Tell us what jobs you want more of and where. You leave the call with a plan and a price.

  2. 02

    Page map from search data

We plan the city and service pages from search data: the jobs and towns people actually search for.

  3. 03

    Build in code

Your branding, your content and your photos. Service pages and click-to-call on every screen.

  4. 04

    Launch with SEO in place

SEO structure and schema are built in from day one, not added later.

  5. 05

    Handover

Once the project is paid, the repository and the domain are yours. Add Local SEO later if you want new pages every month.

FAQ

Roofing website questions, answered

How much does a roofing website cost?
Published prices checked on October 19, 2026: RoofWebs templates start at $799 (sale price, $899 regular), and Hook Agency's custom website is $21,000. BKND's Standard roofing website is $12,000 and the Custom website is $24,000. Either can be paid up front or split into 12 monthly payments of $1,000 or $2,000. Larger custom builds go up to $50,000.
Do I own my roofing website?
With BKND, yes. Every site is written in code, not assembled in a page builder, and once the project is paid the code repository and the domain are yours and the site can be hosted anywhere. Ask any provider this before you sign: RoofWebs' custom packages, for example, are monthly plans with a 24-month commitment and include their hosting and management.
How long does a roofing website take to build?
Our pricing page lists the Standard website as "launched in weeks, not months." A Custom build depends on how many town and service pages it carries, so ask on the call. The biggest factor on your side is how quickly you send photos, your service list and your towns. The first call takes 20 minutes and ends with a plan and a price.
Is a roofing website template good enough?
For a new roofer who needs to look legitimate this month, a template can be enough. RoofWebs' templates include 10 to 30 pages. The limit shows when you want to rank in many towns: a page for each of 6 services in each of 20 towns is 6 × 20 = 120 pages, four times what a 30-page template holds.
What pages should a roofing website have?
A page for each roof service you sell, a page for each town or county you want calls from, storm damage and insurance claim pages, a free inspection or estimate page, a gallery of your own jobs, and an about page with your licence and insurance details where they apply. Both roofing sites shown on this page carry service, town, storm damage, and inspection or quote pages.
Can you redesign my roofing website without losing my rankings?
Losing rankings is the main risk in any redesign. Google's guide to moving a site with URL changes says to prepare a mapping from each current URL to its new one, redirect the old URLs to the new ones, and monitor traffic on both. In practice: list every page that gets search traffic today, keep those addresses where possible, redirect the rest to the closest new page, and check the old pages in Search Console after launch. Ask any builder how they will do this before you sign.
Do you only build websites for New Jersey roofers?
No. BKND is based in Elizabeth, NJ and serves clients across the United States with remote-first collaboration. WeatherShield Roofing, one of the sites shown on this page, is in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Do I need SEO on top of the website?
Every BKND site has its SEO structure and schema built in from day one. Ongoing Local SEO is a separate plan at $2,800 a month, month to month, for roofers who want new town and service pages and Google Business Profile work every month.

Tell us your towns and your services. You get a plan and a price on the first call.
